The Office of Environmental Management & Services seeks both an Environmental Compliance Manager and Asbestos Team Supervisor for immediate hire to round out our highly effective Environmental team. We’re managing aggressive, multi-year initiatives around asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, and other capital projects across our network of 220+ school buildings (see more here), and we’re looking for highly competent managers to support in these efforts.

The ideal candidate for the Environmental Compliance Manager is someone comfortable with facilitating and leading meetings between government entities, union representatives, community organizations and members as they manage capital environmental projects and collaborate with consulting firms and regulatory entities on air and water pollution, hazardous waste, asbestos abatement, lead paint and indoor air quality compliance. The Asbestos Team Supervisor should be an experienced Asbestos Worker with experience or interest in taking on managing a diverse Asbestos Abatement team, delegating responsibilities, and managing complex projects to keep projects on schedule.
